In addition to what I've already posted, see if you can attach screen shots of your color settings ( either Bridge settings or individual application color settings. That way, I'll be able to see if those are in line with a good workflow or if you need to make some adjustments. Getting back to the file prep., you could test your own workflow by taking a RAW photo ( hopefully a known good one ) and save individual versions in each RGB profile ( i.e., Colormatch, Prophoto, Adobe RGB, and sRGB. Then convert each one to SWOP sheetfed v2 CMYK. Then have those, both the RGB and the converted CMYK printed on a fairly decent proofer or whatever you are using. See how each one prints on the same paper using its .icc profile ( if you have one in the driver ). Let me know if you see any differences between the different profiles.
